LVSL members,

For those of you who missed the August meeting at Cafe del Mar, our new teams are Keystone Pride F.C. out of Saucon Valley and Lehigh Internationale, a university-based team. All teams are expected to submit registration forms and fees by August 31. Please contact our Registrar-by-default, Tim McDaniel, with any registration issues.

Pete Csongradi expects to devise a 10-game schedule for each team, with games beginning September 14, 2008. Our new teams are working on securing home-field sites. These will be added to the database at www.LVSL.org as soon as Webmaster Alan Angulo receives notification. Should you have any scheduling restrictions, please notify Pete Csongradi A.S.A.P.

Three teams have earned a $25 credit for having no forfeits this spring: Allentown Soccer Club, Primo Futbol Club, and Push the Rock. The sportsmanship award was won by Push the Rock and/or Primo F.C. Pete will check his records and notify the league whether one team receives $50 credit or two get $25/each. It was very close. The league is also cutting a check for $144 to Evergreen Soccer Club as reimbursement for their two, forfeited games vs. Fogelsville Soccer Club.
